WHERE WILL YOU BE 10,000 YEARS FROM NOW?

WHERE WILL YOU BE 10,000 YEARS FROM NOW?

You will be alive in your spirit in one of two places only. One of the places has eternal torment.

IF YOU YOU AREN’T SURE, THEN SEEK HIS TRUTH IN THE BIBLE NOW AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES.

Find a true church with Disciples/Christians that are unified completely. Let Jesus define who is a Christian, not people.

Acts 2:29-39 MSG
[29-36] “Dear friends, let me be completely frank with you. Our ancestor David is dead and buried-his tomb is in plain sight today. But being also a prophet and knowing that God had solemnly sworn that a descendant of his would rule his kingdom, seeing far ahead, he talked of the resurrection of the Messiah-‘no trip to Hades, no stench of death.’ This Jesus, God raised up. And every one of us here is a witness to it. Then, raised to the heights at the right hand of God and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he poured out the Spirit he had just received. That is what you see and hear. For David himself did not ascend to heaven, but he did say, God said to my Master, “Sit at my right hand Until I make your enemies a stool for resting your feet.” “All Israel, then, know this: There’s no longer room for doubt-God made him Master and Messiah, this Jesus whom you killed on a cross.” [37] Cut to the quick, those who were there listening asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers! Brothers! So now what do we do?” [38-39] Peter said, “Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away-whomever, in fact, our Master God invites.”

The term Christian was first given to label Jesus disciples 7 years after Jesus ascended into Heaven

ACID TEST:
IF YOU CALL YOURSELF A CHRISTIAN, WERE YOU TAUGHT TO BE A DISCIPLE AS JESUS DEFINES IT IN THE BIBLE?

Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
[18] Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

What Jesus want you to become? A disciple!

Acts 11:25-26 MSG
[25-26] Then Barnabas went on to Tarsus to look for Saul. He found him and brought him back to Antioch. They were there a whole year, meeting with the church and teaching a lot of people. It was in Antioch that the disciples were for the first time called Christians.

The World will eventually end. Everyone eventually dies. Nothing you put your trust in on this planet will last for ever. Eternity is a long time…and serving Him is an honor. Enjoy this life, but don’t put all your stock in it.

John 12:47-50 MSG
[47-50] “If anyone hears what I am saying and doesn’t take it seriously, I don’t reject him. I didn’t come to reject the world; I came to save the world. But you need to know that whoever puts me off, refusing to take in what I’m saying, is willfully choosing rejection. The Word, the Word-made-flesh that I have spoken and that I am, that Word and no other is the last word. I’m not making any of this up on my own. The Father who sent me gave me orders, told me what to say and how to say it. And I know exactly what his command produces: real and eternal life. That’s all I have to say. What the Father told me, I tell you.”

Galatians 5:17-21 NLT
[17] The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. [18] But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. [19] When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, [20] idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, [21] envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Malachi 3:16-18 NIV
[16] Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name. [17] “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. [18] And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.

ITS TIME TO FEAR GOD SERIOUSLY!
