Greetings from Phnom Penh, Cambodia!
It was an exciting end of March! The contractor is now working on the details to finish up the bathroom project and we had a blast for Bible Talk at the Orphanage as we kept with our month-end birthday celebration!
The floor tiling looks fantastic, along with the bathrooms and showers and three 4-faucet trough sinks.
Saravuth, the Contractor, proudly displays one of the completed showers. David, his 12 year old nephew, now resides in the CSW-MERCY Orphanage. He recently lost his dad and his mom, like many from the poor provinces, works in Thailand. Saravuth is very grateful to the CSW-MERCY Orphanage for providing Davit with a loving and secure home. Consequently, Saravuth has committed to helping us with all future construction projects.
Big brother Heng and his new bride, Solika, hosted a dinner at the orphanage to celebrate their wedding with all the kids.
The kids loved the feast but, of course, took time out for a selfie!!!
We began the after-dinner festivities by breaking into four teams and introducing the kids to Dodgeball! A fun time had by all!!!
We then continued our custom of celebrating monthly birthdays by celebrating two this month, big sister and orphanage nurse, Srey Nich (L), and Danit (R) …
… followed by singing and dancing …
and .. silliness and laughter after smearing frosting on each other …
… all together as family (our new brother, Dun, with one of the youngest kids, Tereak) …
… and we closed with a family photo.
Please keep us in your prayers as we are praying for you.
