Mandee and I are so excited to be back from the London European Missions Conference, “LIVING BY FAITH.” Please click here for all of the audio recordings.
Our travel started on Wednesday, Oct 26th after traveling for over 13 hours (two flights and three countries, aka cheapest flight deal we could find) we landed at London Gatwick Airport. After coming out of customs, we were greeted by three disciples singing “We love you with the love of the Lord,” with an English accent. After two hours traveling the public transportation system, we arrived at our Hotel where the EMC would mostly take place. Our conference started Wednesday night at the Speakers Dinner joining our dear friends from around the world.

After getting a good nights sleep after being awake for 24 hours, we were refreshed to participate at the Church builders workshop. Jason Dimitry did an amazing job with the sermon entitled “Called to be an Apostle,” where everyone had to ask themselves, “do you believe you are called by God?”. Mandee and I were able to speak to the men and women for a short charge as we separated males and females. Then everyone got into small groups and had a time of confession anddiscipling. Indeed I was honored to be in the group with Kip McKean and many heroes in the faith!

During lunch and dinner we were able to get with many disciples, some we converted over four years ago when we lived in London, and others our “spiritual grandchildren.” At evening we gathered for the first general session. The church was on fire as we heard from Joe Willis (lead Evangelist of Australia ICC), “Faith that Moves Mountains.” Understanding some mountains can be moved, but some need to climb! When standing at the top, it is no longer a mountain. Joe encouraged us to all pray for an hour a day and became professional mountain climbers. That evening we joined Rd & April Baker for a late night dinner, who joked after Joe’s sermon he needed to start his restoration studies! The Bakers have done an excellent job in Dubai, as their inaugural service with only 11 disciples they had an attendance of 53!

Jamal was a homeless Muslim that spoke little English when we first met in 2012. Now he is a vital part of the London Church!

Friday morning, we started with Men and Women sessions. Carlos Mejia (leader Evangelist in Mexico City ICC) humored us with a sermon entitled “If God is for us, who can be against Us.” What was so impacting was his statement, “We will all have our ups and downs, but you better be nice to people, because on your way down you want someone there to catch you!” Right after Lunch, there were different classes, Song Workshop; Cyber Workshop; or even a class about Overcoming Abuse. The room was packed with so many brothers and sisters who have been impacted by abuse in their lifetime. Much understanding and healing took place at the preaching and teaching of Carlos Mejia.

Our Second General Session started that night with the sermon by Michael Williamson (Lead Evangelist of London ICC and the one who appointed me an Evangelist), “Not Ashamed of the Gospel.” Michael showed us one of the coolest insights in the old testament simply by preaching the genealogies (hopefully I can share this with you soon).

Saturday we had our third general session and our Day of Mercy. MichaelOchwa convicted us as he shared all that MERCY has been able to do in the United Kingdom, but spurred us on, as there is much more we can do. Kip then proceeded with teaching the History of the Movement, in fact, this was the most moving and inspiring history lessons I have ever heard! Then Oleg Sirotkin (Lead Evangelist of Moscow ICC) humored us, but also sobered us with this Sermon, “Exchanging the Truth for a Lie.” Understanding when someone is not coming to the meetings of the body or giving a contribution, it is not that he or she is “weak” but are sick with poison and destructive to the body of Christ! Let us not be sick with poison but hold to the teaching of Jesus, John 8:31-32.
During Kip’s lesson Jurij and I are reminded of the Core Convictions of our movement. Jurij was baptized in the OC Campus ministry back in 2010
Samuel is ready to take on World Evangelism in all of Europe
During the afternoon there was an official football (aka soccer) match on a professional pitch, England VS The World. Everyone who was not there had to wait until Sunday to find out the winner, but England won! That night the marrieds had off, but the Singles and the Campus had a party! The singles went on an adventure around the world as they toured London, and the Campus had a devotional. Mandee and I had the honor of preaching “Holy Faith” and spoke about the importance of purity and going on encouraging dates with your brothers and sisters.
Sunday Service was fantastic as RD Baker inspired us all with a sermon “Living by Faith.” Truly that is what RD and April are doing in Dubai as they have already had five additions in 6 weeks. Then we all witnessed the spirit sending off Sean and MJ (the newly engaged couple) along with three others to initiate the Birmingham House Church. Birmingham is the Church that Joe and Kerry Willis used to lead in our former fellowship as Joe was converted in Camden Town of London.

Then we stood arm and arm as our dear brother Lu Jack Martinez (Super Region Leader and East Region Leader of the City of Angels Church) lead us in the first “Glory Song” sang in a foreign country! Honestly, the world is being evangelized in our generation! The conference concluded with a dinner banquet and a play produced by Deedra Morgan, which reenacted the conversion of Saul, the most pivotal conversion of the 1st century! Moreover, now some good news from our House Church Leaders in OC!

What an excellent service it was today here in Orange County as we have been going through the book of Acts for the past three Sundays. Today we focused on Acts chapters 16 to 21 and My dear husband Mahleek Grant gave us an incredibly exciting lesson entitled Bonded For Life. He took us through three points in his sermon: Bounded in Discipling; Bounded in Hardship; and Bonded in Purpose. To God be all the Glory

After the service, our newest sister, Yahira, shared how she was seeking God for two years but didn’t know what she needed to do to get right with God until she received guidance from the sisters! Yahira is baptized for the forgiveness of sins in a portable baptistery in the back of a pickup truck! Video here

Greetings from the Fullervine & South County House Churches! God has truly done more than we can ask or imagine in our most recent House Church Service this past Sunday. Our previous House Church Service was not the most spectacular. Between two House Churches, we only had one visitor, and he arrived just in time for the post service BBQ… Upon hearing the poor outcome of service, our courageous leader Coltin Rohn delivered a gentle spur and admonition that got our groups motivated to have more visitors out to our next House Church service. After much prayer, preaching and d-groups our House Churches turned a new leaf.

This past Sunday with 20 disciples God provided us with 11 Visitors and three on-the-spot studies! Please keep us in your prayers as we currently have many Bible Studies taking place and many hearts are regaining the vision to evangelize the world beginning in Orange County. Good news from the South County House Church. The ‘Baker Ranch’ and ‘Walk The Talk’ bible talks are excited about going into the holidays. Both Bible talks have started a “FALL in love again!” marriage series which ends with a holiday cooking party and a News Years karaoke contest. The dates for the “FALL in love again” series are November 4th – ‘Rules of Engagement,’ November 11th – ‘He said, She said”, December 2nd – “50 First Dates” and December 9th – “The Game Plan.” Please invite any couples you know that would love to learn more about their marriage, have fun and build relationships. The South County House Church is committed to making friends and family in the Lord. The Untalans the Purdys, and the Doungs have taken over Baker Ranch and live within a few blocks of each other, and everyone is very excited about reaching out to their neighbors.

On November 6, 2016, service was held at Craig Regional Park where students from Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton Junior College, and Biola University came together to worship the Lord on a Sunday morning.

Service began with a warm welcome from our dear brother and sister, Adam Blanco and Tina Lomeli, who are bible talk leaders at Biola University. They opened service with Ephesians 2:19-22 as a reminder that we are no longer strangers in this world, but a family!
Following the announcement(s) is a time of sharing for Communion. During this time our dear sister, Mirka Alcala shared what the cross means to her. She reflected on “godly love” and how difficult it was to love those who did her wrong in the past. It was through God’s example of true love (by sacrificing his one and only perfect son) and his Word (the Bible) that he taught us what it truly means to love someone, despite how hard it can sometimes be. (1 Corinthians 13)
Following the deep reflection of the Communion message, Sammy Herrera shared about Contribution. He shared a story about the deep emotions he felt when his car was robbed during an outing with his family. He reflected that that was how God felt when we robbed him of our tithes. It was through his family that God reminded him that material things could easily be replaced. However, our time and our relationship with God cannot. With the end of Special Missions also approaching, Sammy reminded each and every one of us that money is temporary and simply a comfort in this physical world. Despite everything else, God only cares about where our heart is when we give. While the world is chasing after their finances, disciples are chasing after the Word. (Proverbs 28:18, Malachi 3:8-)
Finally, our fired-up House Church leader, Kevin Trujillo, boldly preached the Word on part 3 of our Book of Acts series! During his powerful sermon titled “I AM WITH YOU,” the young preacher shared the following three (3) points: 1) WORK FOR THE LORD 2) CALLED BY THE LORD 3) PROTECTED BY THE LORD
Dear Family, let us also work hard for God this week as we complete our Missions goal this Sunday. Knowing that God has called us to the task, and through our sacrifice, we will be protected by the Lord! As a church, we are hoping to hit 100% by this Sunday, November 13th. In the case that we do not make 100% of Missions we will “carry each other’s burdens” (Gal 6:2) and hit the goal collectively!

As a congregation, we put finances in missionaries and church plantings, not buildings. Just like the Israelites, we also move when God opens, and closes different rental facilities. As it has been great meeting at the Hilton in Costa Mesa, I believe God is making it clear to move us to the Hotel Fullerton Anaheim located just north of the 91 and west of the 57. 1500 S. Raymond Avenue Fullerton, CA 92831. So for this Sunday we will be meeting at our new location, which includes free parking!
We will meet together for Regional Service Nov 13th, 20th; Dec 4th, 11th, and then Super Regional Service Dec 18th! We will have House Church services Nov 27th, and then Christmas Eve and New Years Eve Dec 24th and Dec 31st!
The Lord leads us to a new place to worship!
Excitingly our New Christian Orientation will be held on November 20th for all our new Christians in place of our Leaders meeting. NCO will be for all those who have not been to one in the past, along with disciplers and House Church Leaders. Mandee and I would personally like to invite everyone who does not have a place to go for Thanksgiving to our home in Lake Forest on Thanksgiving day! Please RSVP if you would like to join!
