The Bible is unarguably an incredible book. It is the best-selling, most quoted, most published, most circulated, most translated, most influential book in the history of mankind. There is no close second. But why should anyone believe that the Bible is actually true? Might not the Bible be a fraud? Might not it be an ancient book of mythology, filled with the fanciful, yet deceitful writings of men? What about […]

Science vs The Bible – Friends Or Enemies?

A commonly held belief today is that you can’t be a Christian AND a scientist since a scientist lives by the light of reason and not faith. Interestingly, the reason man was originally bold enough to venture scientific theories was because scientists believed in a rational thinking God, of law and order and therefore that there would be knowable laws of the universe. After this period (known as the Enlightenment) […]

If God is so good and loving, why is there so much evil in the world?

Introduction: First let us understand one simple fact; many people think that God is in control of everything. If God was in control of everything, He certainly has things in an awful mess! The Bible is clear; Man is in control of what happens in the earth for the present. God has, as it were, “leased the earth out to mankind”. Genesis 1:26: Then God said, “Let us make mankind […]
