This past weekend, our invaluable IE sisters had the special privilege to participate in the Inaugural CAICC Women’s Volleyball Tournament, hosted in Orange County, CA! Women from each of the five metro LA counties came to play in seven very competitive matches, with the top four going on to compete at our Labor Day Picnic for the Championship. Our team was called the Firecrackers, and we were combined with our sister region, Palm Springs. Our girls played incredibly tough and had a record of 3-3 going into the final match, in with the winner would determine who plays in the Final Four on Monday. We put up a valiant effort, but fell short in the end, as we lost to very determined AMS/East team. In the end, many of the women remarked that it was a very fun and amazing event to be a part of and are looking forward to next year’s tournament.
