We had an incredible Easter Service this Sunday, as we had our largest attendance this year as 110 people came to WORSHIP GOD! One brother from our former fellowship baptized in 1984, when asked who invited him out commented, “No one… I’ve been watching you guys and listening online for a long time and I finally had to come and see it!” It also moved everyone’s hearts to see our sister Genesis, who a week ago was hit by a car which broke her leg, sitting in the rear of the service as she was determined to be there for her visitors!

Worship is a gift and a privilege, because salvation is a privilege! We were all privileged to see two miracles this Sunday after an incredibly electric worship service. Datoun is a young NIGERIAN Finance Major studying at London Metropolitan College, who’s been commuting from “Kent” to London (two-and-a-half hour train journey) to study the Bible! Sunday, he made Jesus Lord, as he was baptized in the “lovely” Regents Canal! He humbly shared how grateful he was to be a part of the family and join the cause of evangelizing the nations in one generation!
Immediately after Datoun was baptized, Jamal was baptized! Jamal is a single ITALIAN young man who at first had no true faith in Jesus. Jamal was challenged, “If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.” (John 7:17) So Jamal began sitting in on studies and taking notes, sharing his faith on campus, serving other disciples, raising money through tagging, basically imitating the lives of the disciples. It was comical when one of the brothers explained to him the commitment level it would take to be a true disciple. Jamal’s response was, “Hey wait a minute, this is all the fun stuff I’ve been doing with you guys anyway! I might as well get baptized so at least I’m a saved disciple!” Jamal was then baptized and was key in helping the church raise $1,400 US dollars this week through our “Bucket Brigade!” (tagging)
Satan is a street-fighter and has fought hard against us this week through a lot of persecution and evil attacks, but we are fighting back hard to overcome him “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.” (Revelation 12:1) Thank you for your prayers!
